To have lived to a "certain age" and not have a past is highly improbable. Those who have not done their personal homework regarding any leftover baggage from previous failed relationships are self-condemned to repeat the situation again and again. Anyone who refuses to accept their own culpability, or even the slightest acceptance of being wrong at all from time to time, is clueless regarding what it takes to make a mature relationship. It is possible to become emotionally complete with relationships that have ended, no matter how painful, or how recently or long ago, you can rebuild the trust you need to move on and find the love of your life.

What I understand as baggage from some is our past relationships that some seem to not be able to let go and let the past remain in the past.
Our past is a part of our lives and what makes us whom we are today. But........to relive the past over and over is not really living. One must learn to be able to deal with the past and move on. Like Gypsy said get past it and move on get over it. We all have had our heart broken no doubt but some of us learned from it and realized that life goes on. You can not blame every person you meet for what another did to you in your past. For in reality the only one holding on to the past is you I promise you they have moved on with their life and so should you. |

So, what's the deal with baggage? What does it mean when someone says, "no baggage, please." Is there anyone out there without baggage? And, by the way, has anyone seen my suitcase? Is that like the "no drama" people? They say that because they have a ton of their own? |

Is that like the "no drama" people? They say that because they have a ton of their own? Exactly, we can all leave the bags and drama at the door but does it ever go away (really)? |
