 My mom and daddy was both preachers.Im registered as a minister in the state of Kentucky.My whole family is.It don't mean nothing though.Just a piece of paper (that Im looking everywhere in my house to find right now).
lmao..find it darling..cuz if i ever get married, im making you come do my vows. and then im making you drink a beer at the reception. lmao I've never done a marriage ceremony but it says on the paperwork that I can perform them in accordance with the laws of the state of Kentucky.
does that mean i gots to come to 'tucky to get married???   But seriously darlin, Im just a paper minister. Im not any kind "real" reverend or anything like that.

Gosh Mirror didn't you get the memo? Only republicans can be Christians! I live in an ultra conservative part of the country and a lot of the people around here believe your only a Christian if your a Pentecostal or a Baptist. I went to the church school until I was 13 and thats what I was taught. LOL

I guess i was saying that religion can help many, but can cause harm to many as well. Depends on what one really believes... I have been known to find comfort in praying... And i find much wisdom in certain religious philosophies as well. Especially those tributed to Jesus Christ... |

I got an email the other day. from a friend i hadnt talked to for a few months.
we started talking because of the election and the "doom" we envision. he told me in the past two months he had read the entire old testament. and was working on the new. because of me. and our talks. im not a prophet. im just saying. Jesus is real. hes not a myth. im a minority. but i still believe please forgive me...im jsut a sinner |

So, I guess I have a question.
Why do you need Jesus to save you? yes yes I know all about us being born into sin...yada yada I also have some formal religious education and understand that whole spiel about salvation...again yada yada... Seriously, what about behaving well and acting justly for the sake of you and your fellow man here on earth without the threat or reward of life eternal in heaven is hard? Must you have an invisible guy capable of denying you an afterlife with him and promising to cast you into hell fires for you to behave? I mean serious, the Bible was written by men and assembled and edited by men over a very long period of time. Gospels not politically correct at the time were destroyed and discarded. Read it, the events of the Resurrection in the Bible conflict with each other?!? What part of it do you beleive? Umm never mind... |

Im sure words have been changed. I know that many passages are unclear. It jsut doesnt change that i dont need to prove it wrong. I dont need to kill for my religion. I dont need to shove it down somebodys throat. alls i really gotta do is beleive and seek to walk everyday with the Lord. hey but im not perfect...i do wrong everyday. |
