The beautiful words that were written in the thread that Marie started for me brought me through that rough patch. I am doing good, still have to be very careful whenever I get a slight cold. I am still learning that I must take breaks to get things done. That is so hard to do at times |

That is so hard to do at times I know it's been a while Sweetie,
i was keeping watch of your progress through that thread... you were dangling from a precariously frail thread of your own, for a while there 
i am so glad you are doing better
i 've been kind of in a thick fog with my Own Mother's health 
& painfully sad situation for quite some time & it has been hard to see past it 
She is finally coming to grips with the fact that she needs to be in assisted living
and that her needs exceed my ability to care for her
but this has not been a real easy decision or place to come to... for i have tried to help her stay out of those places for soo long... but her legs and knees are so bad... she just can't walk
and i have suffered so many back injuries and other repetitive strain injuries from years of lifting & transferring patients and other stuff due to heavy lifting... so i am unfortunately not capable of helping her more

No guilt there, my friend, you've done the best you can and I'm sure your mom knows that in her heart. You know, a lot of those places aren't bad and she just may find she enjoys it much more than she ever dreamed possible.

Gee, you are perceptive and sure are sweet
you definitely can read between the lines
for i have been so ridden with guilt
not being able to do more for her financially plus she lives 800 miles away ...
so, i've been traveling up and down the coast to help her pretty often those places can be sooo expensive
and her retirement from the phone company doesn't give her much to live on...

this lady sure isn't at a shortage for words, eh? 
glad i have some loving listeners...
I drive myself crazy with my mind that never shuts up
and my body that feels

i live in the middle of the noisy non stop city...
and the doctors ..  
.they thought i was a hypochondriac... 
they said " oh you look so good !!! 
how could you have any problems???? "
sure... as if " outward appearances " Ever tell the whole story
and then ...
when the upper neck MRI results came back
they found bulging disks
and bone spurs and other stuff...
then all of a sudden...his tune changed
the doctor more like legal drug pusher 
with all of the many financial benefits for the doctor 
and for the pharmaceutical companies ... 
that is
they wanted to start me from zero to 60 milligrams of flipping morphine as maintenence... as he told me? " maintenence ???? I said ? Oh My God...." 
and then what ?
80 100 120 milligrams ???
and then oxycontin...
like so many of my zombie neighbors...
hell no...i won't let that happen so i bounce off the walls .
but it is better than losing myself
he wants to turn me into a junkie
but when i asked him for alternative medication . he wouldn't advocate me smoking a joint cause there are no financial kickbacks for them.... 
and anyway we'll get the Federales after you ...
they threaten us with ....
it sucks big time...
oooooooooohh.....
sorryyy don't mind me....
i'm just venting...
i love you and thank you for being there ...
you all help me to keep sane...
