Topic: Christian Love.... TAKE THE CHALLENGE | |
---|---|
Do Christian or so called Christians love one another? Do they even love others that are not Christians. What if Christians showed love for their neighbors, or strangers? How would that effect even their own environments around them? Do you think you can do in it in Jesus name, and not towards your own self interest? So... here is my CHALLENGE to all you so called CHRISTRIANS...... Show some unselfish love for your fellow person for ONE WEEK... Then post the results in this thread..... with all due respect. very silly thread. simply because the good that the right hand does. the left hand does not need to know. whatever good or bad things a person does is between that person and God, assuming that this (again) silly thread is oriented specificly to christians. |

This has turned into a interesting thread.... No post towards the challenge. Just the usual talk, and excuses. All those I'm so giving, and caring... Post something as a humble example in this large cold world. Or just post more excuses & more talk. Take the Challenge..... I have an even better 'challenge'... Do the deed and post it not... which is more important... the good that is done? Or that which is talked about? |

There are plenty of Christians and non-Christians alike walking this earth with their own "moral" codes thinking they're doing "good" ultimately to serve themselves. Why not ask this question of all of us? Actually... I can't say this exercise would produce any significant/authentic results. What is this? A contest to see who's "better" at being unselfish? Ooooooo!!!! I wanna win! Oh yeah... That would be self-serving. How can one "practice" unselfish love? Doesn't it seem that, the moment someone purposes to be unselfish, they automatically ARE being selfish? |

Again... this is a interesting thread. To give without expecting. To show example without the thought of attention towards ones self, but maybe showing a kind\caring example. Small simple acts without expecting for ones' self.

This is a daily 365 days a week...not just a week. I love my fellow Christians, I love those that are not more. I love the sinner just not the sin. I don't think if a Christian truly walked in the ways of the Lord that this would be hard at all. Yes it is a narrow path I walk and this thread is a perfect example of that. But I walk it with a glad heart and with love for all on this planet. What I find funny is the ones that are claiming it can't be done. Maybe a better one would be to Walk with the Lord for a week if you don't believe......and see what happens... God Bless. I look forward to your post, or acts after one week. The Challenge is for acts.... not walking on water, but simple acts for their fellow person. Sweetie I live it daily, and do for others constantly it's engrained into who I am....I don't change from week to week..I am who I am every single day of my life.....I serve every single day in one way or another. What are you looking for a resume of how I serve the Lord? And do you honestly think that will change in a week...I think not. Would you like a list of daily kindness that I do in a day.....and take away the simple act of giving or doing for the Lord not for ones self. hmmmmmm I am but a humble servant sweet man.....so I see no reason for making it public....Does that make sense? I think it makes sense, but not why you responded. Why respond to a challenge with anything other then no thanks if you had no intention of following through; which one part was to list it. ________________ I will take this challenge, and I am an atheist. I think Christians like there sayings more then their realities. I am going to grab a note pad to carry with me right now. Again... this is a interesting thread. To give without expecting. To show example without the thought of attention towards ones self, but maybe showing a kind\caring example. Small simple acts without expecting for ones' self. |
