that doesn't surprise me
it's like the hanging chads all over again

I hope all the votes count
people have a right to have their voices heard

I hope so too. It would be wrong if they aren't counted.
And wrong polling location or not, it is a vote. IMO.

HeartSoul, I'll tell you why I think that so many people are going to the wrong polling places. It started with the last census. The lines around the neighborhoods changed big time. They changed the wards. The polling place you had for 20 years is no longer your polling place. We all have different wards and aldermen now.

Look at the electoral map. The Show Me State is the only gray state.laugh

I believe people went to the right places
in my area they had 2 places to vote and some people were sent to where I voted and some to the other polling place

they had removed some people and sent their information to the other polling place
some people were removed and not notified

it happens a lot
I don't think people are lazy, I believe the system is flawed

Yes, it does happen a lot.

And a vote is a vote is a vote, IMO. What does it matter if it was taken in the wrong location?

exactly if they are not on the roster in the other precinct what does it matter

oh yeah (harder to control elections that way their fraud would be more obvious)

and they would not know how to divide up precincts to their advantage neither

the precincts here added more places to vote because of the huge voter turn out that was expected

they still should have notified voters on time

my oldest child got the notification yesterday telling my child where to vote (had to vote provisional, because of the screw up with the registrar books)

they sure were on time, weren't they?

Hope your son's vote gets counted.

My ex still hasn't received his voting card. He moved back to Missouri about 6 mths. ago. But...they sent him a sample ballot to show him where to go. No voting card!

I hope my son's vote will count, too

I don't understand why your ex didn't get what he needed to vote.
The way the system is at this time doesn't work it really needs to be changed
