I think you are right in choosing to wait for a Christian girl. I am not saying that is going to make things perfect, but it will make them easier if you have the same beliefs. Just be careful, because I have more than once thought someone I started dating was a Christian and they ended up being all talk and no action. Good luck!

When I was younger I was in love with a boy whose mother was Christian. He was Atheist but could never tell her or she would disown him. She would only let him date another Christian so I pretended to be one so we could be together.

She eventually found out I wasn't and wouldn't let me see him anymore.

The word says do not be unequally yoked.

Then again it speaks of an unbelieving wife or husband that if thier is not a problem it is ok.

Then again it says love the stranger as yourself for you were once strangers.

To limit yourself to someone who only believes as you do. IMO.. You may be missing out on one of the Greatest gifts Yahweh will ever give you.

Joseph in Eygpt is a great Example. He married an Eygptian woman and thier sons were adopted by thier grandfather Jacob who' name was changed to Israel. Then the Blessings of sons the Beginning of the Sons of Israel are 1/2 Eygptian.

Then thier is Rahab the Harlet who helped Joshua at Jericho. She became a grandmother of King David which makes her a Grandmother of the Messiah Yahshua.

I've tried to date secular, but it has been a problem all the way around. First it's ok and then they start asking why you can't do this and why don't you want to do this and then it just causing disinterest because something you will not do/ So now I'm waiting on God

Ive dated excons and a physically handicapped man once so a Christian is no big problem comparatively speaking. The only deal breaker would be the constant proselytizing and fire and brimstone chatter. I would not stand for any threats of hell or eternal damnation.
