The emptiness feeds the fear
I'm watching it now my mind is clear
There it goes feeding the fire
Strangling me now with life's wire

Do you see the eyes flaming red
Or hear the words that were not said
Let it think I'm in its hold
Don't move or think be still and cold

I hear it breathe and feel its stare
With no other this can I share
I would not do that to enemy or friend
This is my burden till time's end

What is this thing that I speak of
It is not kindness or the sweetest love
It is but life the cruelest joke
And happiness now gone up in smoke

It is heavy but I carry this beast
Upon my soul it shall not feast
Still I'm here and willing to fight
Doing what is just and right

I'll shore up my walls and stand so strong
Greeting the day singing my own song
I am a survivor this much is true
So another day I'll share with you

For all those that don't remember or understand why I'm writing like this let me explain a little... I fight bipolarism everyday and sometimes the darkness of it wins. Please don't be scared or go running away try to see the ravages of this thing and embrace them as just another part of me to love.

Within our arms we hold you, love you and most of all support you,, We are all imperfect beings,, worthy of love, respect and upmost gentleness when one falls we all fall,, you my dear are never alone,,,
