Topic: Wouldn't someone make money....

.....if they would patten.... a button on the television set that would make the remote beep (like the page button we have on the cordless phone).....Save alot of time with us losing the remote .....What do you all think?

That's what I was thinking...But now all you need is a guy and he will find the remote for you. They are trained for things like that

That's what I was thinking...But now all you need is a guy and he will find the remote for you. They are trained for things like that I thought dogs were the only things you could "train"

Or you could save yourself some money and put it in the same place every time. You know, use logic....

Yessss I could've used this a month ago when I fell asleep w/the remote in the bed. I'm pretty sure it's under the bed but I saw a spider back there so I haven't gotten the courage to crawl under there especially if i'm not sure it's even there.

i thought of something like this years ago and was told when i tried to send it in it was done already. back in school my mom kept telling me to do a larger elastic band to hold a trash bag around a trash can for invention convention, i thought it was pretty dumb, and now they have that. i got something else on my mind id like to get out there, but talking about it gets idea's stolen, lol. i havent search enough to see if it was done yet already or not.

Sounds like a great idea to me. Even if the newer tv's do it a universal remote that does it for older tv's would sell to seniors big time.

If you can't get the kids to return the remote to it's place try chargeing them to use it or fineing them when you find it someplace besides it spot. It worked with mine. Getting teens to hunt coupons for you and giving them half for the ones you scan on your reciept for their allowance makes them learn prices and saves you big bucks at the grocery store.
