I know that three hrs of distance is far to far away. Long distance relationships never work & it hurrts far more when they end too.

I have found that Some LDR's are really worth the traveling-

I know that three hrs of distance is far to far away. Long distance relationships never work & it hurrts far more when they end too. Why would ending an ldr hurt more than ending a relationship that was close by? |

all i know is that if i don't find someone local, than it aint happening. i don't have the time or the resorces to pursue someone far away. unless she wants to come to me, otherwise, not gonna happen. just thought i'd throw this out there. well..I guess that means there is no hope for us...

Pfffft! Three hours' distance is a jaunt to Milwaukee for me. That's nothing.

I am willing to take that risk and I am willing to meet a man half-way or whatever it takes and I have been living that for the past three years and we are still going strong. He met my Mom two weeks ago and we are stronger than ever, so don't give me that crap that an LDR will not work. |

Didn't believe in them myself but sometimes you have to let go of the control and just live a little to see if it's worth it You never know what you may be missing out on Scares the hell out of me to say it but I think you're right...

When you date a personn in your town you can both see each other when you want & its not about geography or precious few days together. You date you see if there is potential there & if you find out no then you break up. Emotions wont go out of the stratosphere like they tend to when you only get to see each other on weekends or whatever& you wont rush the connection or process cuz u wont be scared of them getting away from you. You wont play the what if game when they arent there. There are soooo many valid reasons..
