in the garden when god turns and says:
"Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil" that he was speaking to the angels, but where would one get this from? where in the book does it state that god councels with his creation? for this is what it would have to be, either he is talking to - other gods[one of us] or he is god incarnate in what is know as pre-incarnation of christ. God would not state one of us as if he was on the same plane as the created angels, though i'm not saying they did not know "extended life" and good and evil, they were not eternal like god supposedly is, and this is why he stated such as he did.To me it seems most certain that it was being said amongst the god head [father/son/spirit] not to the angels, your opinions? |

Many people imagine that there was only one entity (God) working on the seeding and genetic engineering of the humans on the earth.
They imagine that one God created a man out of the dust of the earth. But that is not what happened. The genetic engineers were not Gods or angels. They were galaxy scientists probably. They took genetic material from the earth (evolving primitive human DNA perhaps) and they mixed it with their own to advance the evolution of the human creatures on the earth (who were from a different galaxy altogether.) It was basically an experiment. The entire earth had evolving primitive humans who were being observed and guided and enhanced from the very beginning. These human creatures were considered primitive animals, much like we consider ape and chimps. Look at it this way: What if we did something to apes and chimps that caused them to be more self aware and to develop speech and learn good from evil? What if they began to think and be more like us than the primitive creatures we thought they were? What if we crossed an ape with a human and that hybrid began to develop powers and emotions and awareness that had the capacity to be superior to us? What if that is what happened to us humans? |

Maybe God has multiple personality disorder? That would explain how sometimes in the Bible he seems like a nice guy and other times he just wants to blow **** up and punish people for no reason.

He could have just been talking to himself or herself; Since God is a spirit the bible says and is neither male or female. Creative people sometimes talk to themselves and it is a way of thinking out loud. It would seem that God could have been talking to the serpent since besides Adam and Eve there isn't anyone else mentioned to talk to. The word 'us' could lend itself to mean someone besides God. A prior verse mentioned of, "Let us make man in our image." demonstrates that man could have been an experiment.

My current "opinion" is that "he" is speaking of the "us" who comprise our greater selves when not in the throws of human experience (assignment). |
