yesterday at the gym because I called my BOSS 3 times! WoW next time I'll just do things my way without asking to make sure I did it right! No biggy It's not my only job.........And he's done this before! Over something different! Some people just blow up over stupid stuff! No worries.....

Sounds like a totally unjust firing, though, and there just might be a way to challenge it -- depending on a lot of variables, of course.

Some people who manage others are not as skilled in employee relations as they should be. OK, some are just assholes.

This is why I work for myself. I don't get a regular paycheck but my only bosses are my clients and they usually defer to my experience. It's hard to argue in tech-speak when you have to call someone to fix things for you. It's like being Greek. Love it!

I did do logistics for a while in Phoenix in 2005 before I got situated but got fired for failing my drug test. 7 months..not a toke. The ONE weekend that I met a lady (was driving and did not want to drink but also not to spoil the party) and smoked ONE joint with her...drug test that Monday! My first ever. Hated that job anyway. Great pay...too much stress.

Actually Federal laws on wages have changed. Now, rather than 24 business hours, an employer must pay you the day that you normally would get paid. But they have to pay you everything they owe, even if they "hold" out a week or two to start with.
