nahh it's not really I'm about fed up with the meaness and viciousness coming from both sides no one even knows what any of the issues are. all they know is to try and destroy the candidates reputation Don't read what people here have to say then if you already know you're not going to like it. so what? that makes it okay? that is supposed to excuse so many people being mindless parrots repeating ad nauseum what they hear from their favorite radical liberal/conservative hate site? It's supposed to be okay that most of America is voting in ignorance? It's the American Idol system of Democracy  I stand by his posting... I don't see anything wrong it. I mean it's not like he sat there and made it up to be mean to Sarah Palin. These are her words...

I don't support McCain OR Obama and I've heard the stupidest comments from both sides. |

I think you're right in the sense that most people don't know much as the actual issues. However, I find it this way with most things in life. People go by what they hear.

I think Tina Fey should be VP...afterall, she is smarter, more aware of what's goin on in the world and actually has a personality. Sara Palin is a disgrace to the female species only because she uses her femininity to get attention. Hmmm? A woman in the Whitehouse who isn't the wife? well, I am ALL for that, but let's get one that can actually sound intelligent. Tina Fey.

The joke is only funny to half (more or less) of the people and is inflammatory and not funny to a large number of others. And that's because it's politically polarized. Knowing that's the case before hand, I think it's better suited to the political forums.

We won't agree. My point is that no matter how funny you or I think this is, you and I both know that it will not be funny to a good number of people and is actually inflamatory to many people... because of politics. Now you may not care. And you may think they need to lighten up. But that doesn't change what it will do. And for that reason I think it belongs in the political forum. You and others obviously disagree. And the thread was never moved, so I have to believe the moderators agree with you. |

I agree with UK1971, folks. I think the Mods saw that there's really NO issue with his post. If you look at it for what it is, it's just a guy from another country quoting a bunch of stupid things one of our candidates ACTUALLY SAID, who sees and thought WE'D see how truly funny these quotes are in their stupidity. Let's all lighten up! Laugh a little! Here's to you UK1971 for giving some of us over here one hell of a belly laugh!
