seriously, is there a normal? everyone has something... There is indeed a normal. Normal is getting your work done in a reasonable amount of time. Weird is not getting your work finished in a reasonable amount of time. Weird can get you fired. Normal is giving equal consideration for a promotion. Weird is giving unfair consideration for a promotion. Weird can get you sued. Normal is waiting 15 minutes for her/him to show up for the first meeting/date at starbucks. Weird is waiting one hour. Singapore: strict laws against bribery...no gifts accepted by government officals..no public contact between sexes except for handshakes...weird there, not weird here Australia: liberal/flexible time considerations..can be late to work no big deal..not weird there, weird here South Africa: Vergetarians will get seriously made fun of..weird there..not as weird here.. Hong Kong: do not wear blue or white...it is funeral clothes..weird there..not weird here.. roco |
