I'd scarf it down with a smile on my face and make sure the next date either I cooked or took her out to eat! lol

Choke it down. Hopefully there is wine served as well.
I guess it would depend on how many dates there have been. |

if it was tolerable...i'd tolerate it and be honest that it was 'ok'
if it was horribly beyond tolerable...i think i'd try to tell him in the best and most polite way i could...also letting him know that it had no recourse as to how things could go otherwise. |

It would depend on whether I feared it would make me sick or not.
I would rather risk ruining a date by telling him I didn't care for the dish, than to ruin it by spending the rest of the evening sweating and hanging over the commode. |

Humm I would try to eat what I could say it was good. And make darn sure I cooked next time or at least help them cook. Or suggest we go out to eat heck and I would even pay.
No way would I be totally rude and tell them it was nasty. May mention well I have never had it cooked that way ect... But would know better next time. But..........I will have to admit I have yet to have a guy cook for me and it was not good. |

Gotta eat it.
My ex was a Cajun girl. I come home one day and say "What in the hell is that smell? Smells like dirty socks in here!". OK, that was a mistake. They call that Tripe (cow stomach I think) and ya know what...you CAN eat it without puking. I did. My advice...never ever ever let a girl cook for you on a date unless you know she's an excellent cook...or you have an iron stomach. Or you're a masochist. Take em out or cook for her. |

speaking for myself as I usaully do lol,I would toss the food myself than to serve it if it was bad

I don't think it's being rude or mean to politely tell them it's just not to your taste. Eat a little, so they know you made an effort to try the dish, but telling them it's good when you don't like it will only cause confusion down the road if they make it again and again.

ADirtyGirl, I'm just saying...lol. Of course if it was your cooking I'd keep eating it time and time again silly me, and just hope that as with most things in life it gets better with time. *smile*. Besides, what's food got to do with it when you have good company, good conversation and a good time?! lol
