Lexy, the sad thing is, this is so very obviously a persona of his. The fact that you already know this, tells you everything you need to know.... It's hard to pull people out of their delusions, especially when they expect people to worship the facade.... Yeah, well I figured I'd give him a chance to break that, as I do enjoy portions of our conversations. The kill switch... that was when he said he thought he'd be better at my job than I am as he was so obviously superior in reading people. This came right after the lecture on how you can always win an argument if you come with a three pronged approach with valid points. |

As bad as all the other stuff is, I think the thing I personally find the most offensive is the "some girl" remark -- that level of disrespect is unconscionable. Sorry -- but you deserve SO much better.... ....and I don't care HOW many big words he knows. |

Sorry -- but you deserve SO much better.... ....and I don't care HOW many big words he knows. I agree. How about, "I'm busy right now and it isn't a good time to talk?" Sigh.... I found wit, partially. Kind of sort of, for a while while. He has such FREAKING WICKEDLY HUGE self-esteem issues. I don't. No match... It is a never ending cycle.

He hasn't figured out that it's possible to be arrogant and narcissistic and still be considerate and respectful of others. Hell, I do it every day. It's a bit of a tightrope act, but it can be done. Just because I'm better than the rest of the world doesn't mean you can't be, too....! A sort of common ground. Looking down, together, from the tightrope, at the hoi polloi. Because I'm not a big fan of Hawaiian food. |

Nah.. I mean it's all good. I had a few really good conversations but I never had the Cowboy feeling, even remotely. I talked to another guy the other night who said things like "we was talking"... and asked me 800 million questions about things. I felt like a teacher. We was talking on the phone.
