I have Low energy during the day now, and I have MAJOR mood swings (No joke I can be happy one minute and Pissed off the next.) Any Ideas on what this is? I wanna go to sleep in the middle of the day if I have a chance to. I think its turning into depression ,In fact I'm almost positive it is, but Ijust wanna get some other opinions on this.

The best advice i can give you is go and see a doctor about it. Something isnt quite right, and you arent going to get properly diagnosed by anyone here. If anything you could get more alarmed about it and it could trigger something worse off.

Dan is right, you need a medical checkup with blood work to rule out thyroid problems, diabetes and any other imbalances. The doctor can then tell you what he finds and maybe refer you to counseling if necessary to help you get out of your slump before you fall into a full blown depression, IF and big IF that is where you are headed. There are lots of things that can cause problems. Sleep apnea causes daytime sleepiness and it is treatable, and left untreated it can cause congestive heart failure and other problems over the years. So please make a doctor appointment and get checked out and have them draw blood work just to rule out the possibles if nothing else. Then work from there. Good luck, hope you feel better soon. |

I am thinking more along the lines of a manic depression, especially since you said you have went through two other bouts with depression in your life. Are you worried about things that have a major affect on your life right now?? Most manic episodes are brought on by stress or hardships in life. We all know right now it would be completely understandable if you are worrying.

You might ask your Dr about Aspergers..........you can google it and check things out and then put it on your list to ask your dr about when you go in for a check up, as I agree with the many who told you that you should do so. Im Bi Polar, so I can understand, but you have very basic symptoms and just being sleepy and moody doesn't mean you're BP....ya know? Just get to your Doc and go from there. Good luck!
