I remember a time when kids had to work....at Halloween...to get candy. None of this trunk or treat crap. We had to go door to door, in multiple neighborhoods, to earn a good nights worth of candy. Kids nowadays earn it cheaply. I feel robbed.

Alot of churches do them, but communities places like the YMCA have adopted doing them to. Basically, it is where you take your kid, and he gets to go up to people's cars. The people have their trunks (or hatch, back of truck) open and give the kids candy and stuff. It is a cool setup, but they just go down the row of cars and get candy. I know why more people do it, and why parents like the trunk or treats. It is a safer environment for the kids.
