What if: we suddenly faced a life with no illness and no death?
Let's further say, that this planet changed with us and that every
land mass became habitable with a mild to warm climate and that eating
meat, killing animals became illegal.

No illness - no death
No weather extremes
Plenty of food sources without the need for meat
Killing any animal for food or any reason except to be humane was
illegal(punishment - banishment to another planet, desolate and isolated
and unable to reporduce any offspring, still can't die)

What would life be like, what would we all do? How would we act?
Would we work? Would we need money? Anyone think this would be a great
way to exist?

Would this extended life include sea monkeys? I can't seem to keep them
alive after opening the package.

I think this would be a rather dull and boring way to live. If there is
no death we have no reason to eat or drink or worry about what we do in
life. I myself do not want to live forever...I will happily live my life
with its griefs and joys and happily end my days when it's time. And if
there is no death we would eventually get too crowded. I like the circle
of life. Birth-Growth-Death thats how it should be. If this was true I
dont think we would work, many people these days work for money instead
of love of their job, and if we dont work then of course that means
theres no need for money...we can live without food because we cant die.
I dont know.

Will it include music? Cause if it doesn't then I don't want it.

I have thought about this. I dont think I would want to live forever.
Mostly because I belive there is an afterlife.

Even in the most perfect of worlds man will create chaos, Greedy people
will always take advantage of others, and idle hands will do evil
things.

Not to mention the problem of overpopulation. hmm...A bit pessimistic. I
know. I think I need to quit watching the news so much.

Anyway, I like to eat animals so I think this would be hell for me!LOL!

if i cant have a good steak cooked to perfection along with the entire
meal what is the point.
nothing against vegans but i dont like veggies enough to be happy eating

It wouldnt last. Its easy to imagine such a scenario, and its easy to
see exactly where it would go wrong. Discontent would kill it. There is
just something instinctive to being a human being that would foul it up.

Just look at the Garden of Eden. It was exactly as you hypothesize, and
the first thing that went wrong was Adam being discontent. He was king
of it all, had anything he could desire, and what did he do? He
complained. He complained that he was lonely, and he wanted someone to
hang out with. In the Garden of Eden, not a care in the world
(literally), being the boss of everything, still he wasnt content.

And what did he get? Lillith.

Wait, um, er, Eve.


That lack of contentment is the first failure of mankind (not the
apple-incident).
