Right on the money...

Not a single person currently in government or running for office understands the magnitude of what they currently consider a 'crisis'.

Like people in California getting ready for a mag 10 earthquake and being wiped out by the supervolcano next door.

All they really care about is garnering for their party the power to continue fleecing us all.

The only way this can be changed is if the people do something correct? I read somewhere that the Declaration of Independence indicates that if the people believe the government is corrupt they can overrun it physically?? Do you know something about this or read about it?

I prefere to continue using the peacefull methods available to US...
I won't resort to violence till it is used against me. Or my fellow americans... No matter what their affiliations. (or even whether I like them or not).

I am a strong activist for many years now concerning peace, yet I am wondering if a peaceful protest will change anything in today's society.

Unfortantly such a thing in this time would be a great disaster... It has been prempted allready. We are all chasing each others tails. black against white, Democrats against Republicans, young against old... etc.
I wonder if the schism was done delibrately to forstall any concerted attempt at real change.

Such non-peacful action would split into several warring factions each with its own drum. The bloodshed would be horrendus and the goals of the start would become twisted. Such a thing would not be a worthwhile endevour.
