TheCaptain's oldest daughter is getting married this weekend and he decided to drive from Idaho to Kansas and save some money, instead of flying.
At one of his stops for gas, the guy at the station told him of a short-cut...........that took him four hours out of his way, into the middle of nowhere!!!! I got one text from him this morning saying "Guess who's stupid?" and then heard nothing from him again for almost seven hours!! I was freaking out, wondering what happened that I would get a message like that and then nothing. His 17 hour drive took him 21 hours. I told him NEVER take advice from strangers in gas stations!! They are usually the ones hiding the serial killer in their basement!! 
But all is well, he made it and is crashing out in bed right now...

LOL..the whole town smells... there's no getting around it...Actually you can smell the town from about 15 miles out... so.. if he would of known better... he could of just followed his nose...LOL |

I think with how tired he was, it wouldn't have mattered if he fell asleep in the cow pasture..... If that happened, I am glad I couldn't make it!!

The weather in Dodge City was really good today. And the smell in certain towns in Idaho is way worse than anything I've smelled so far. Its been a really good trip so far.
