Why is this in the Religion forum?
The very basis of politics is religion!

and thats whats wrong with this countryfrustrated frustrated frustrated

frustrated
yep!

You're agreeing that we think this country's messed up because religion is too heavily involved with politics?
absolutly yes, if government all over the world would get out of the God business, it would have plenty of resources to do the things it should, like feed and house everyone, and provide medical care for everyone!

Religion is supposed to stay out of the government. They are supposed to be separate.

it should remain separate religion and politics, and the thread has been moved into the politics forums

According to the University of Wisconsin Advertising Project, 73 percent of McCain's ads and 61 percent of Obama's ads have been negative.

I wish that they would both be under 50%.grumble
Btw, from what I have seen on TV in my area, McCain is doing the nastier ads.

As I stated thats from my local paper in Florida McCain 73% vs Obama 61%.

Not sure they meant outright lies, but incomplete truths. Both using portions containing truths but selecting what to put on ads and what to omit.

The attack ads are in more abundance in the states that are close in the poles and like fran stated they arent complete and total lies just parts of what they want you to hear which in most cases make them look bad. And most of the time if you want to see what the candidates are wanting to do all they say is go on my web site. Well yes I have internet access but a lot of people dont and those are the ones i worry about because all they see is whats on tv. would be nice if we could regulate that.

Vote Ron Paul.
Wait a minute don't tell me you think we should elect someone who believes in the constitution, individual freedoms, seperation between church and state and wants to do away with the federal reserve.

I agree. MO is almost tied in the polls.

It is sad if all people have to go on is the ads.
