Blind Humanity

There's too many people searching for hell
And too many blindly educated as well.
Take any symbol and tie it to hate
And instantly a mob stands at your wait.
No matter the fabric, no matter the cost
Haters find hate no matter what's lost.

You say that your innocent, well are you to blame?
Cause and effect are all part of the game.
Does true history stand or do you take what you want,
Blaming all others no matter the fault?
You think that you're worthy to wear your great crown
But even Jericho's walls tumbled to ground.

Don't wallow in pitty, don't follow false pride
Hold up your head and study the truth from the lies.
You think you may know, but sometimes we're all wrong,
Take things in stride and know what belongs.
Don't feed into hate or consume you it will,
In the end we're all human and to death we are sealed.

I always wonder about this great disconnection. Us against them ... why is it rarely 'us with more of us'.

We are all the same...we are all worthly...we are all magnificent...

I have never understood why someone has to be wrong for another to be right. When a coin is flipped and it lands on tails ... it cannot be picked up without getting the head side too ...shades of perception ...

...but I digress...
