True prophets are far and few. False Prophets are all over the place. Do you watch TBN or CBN they have both made predictions they claimed was from Yahweh yet people still follow them like that means nothing.

Knowing who a false prophet is is very important. It will lead you away from them and seek the truth if you will shun them when they make false prdictions.

I wonder how many we would have today if thier prophecie did not come true they were stoned?

Might make them think alittle.. Shalom..Miles

It is not our place to point out another's error ..but to simply pray.
It's God place to deal with each of us..... not our place.
I learned this valuable lesson myself today.

We are to simply love one another.... and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our Faith....Who btw, is not done with any of us.
Myself especially.

Have a Blessed Weekend, Everyone.

ps..special hugs and thanks to Krimsa..for being a very admirable person earlier).

God Bless You, Young Lady !!flowerforyou:heart:flowerforyou

Who's to say who the false prophets are?

Maybe you should be more specific?

Ms I agree we should love. A false prophet is another story. If they claim a word from Yahweh they are accountable when speaking in his name. Thier is a huge difference. recently the guy i forgot his name made predictions that the US would be nuked by july 16th then he said he made a mistake and it would be in the next 90 days from them. He claims to be one of the 2 witnesses he is the Head of the Living church of G-d. Israel Hawkins from Abileen Tx. predicted and it was on UTube that nuclear war would break out by last november. Tbn and CBN both pronounced this guy a prophet who said that in june of 92 that the greatest eathquake in mankinds history would take place. When the day came and gone instead of saying this man is a false prophet they told thier TV audiences that it did come true that the earth quake was so deep in the earth that we just could not feel it but it was the greatest earth quake that has ever been. These people have alot of people who listen and believe them and yet they lie to them. So just who is the father of lies? Who does that make them disciples of? Shalom...Miles

Here is one example i found of a favorite Preacher. This is a qoute when he was on TBN.

"The Lord also tells me to tell you in the mid-90’s, about ’94, ’95, no later than that, God will destroy the homosexual community of America. [Round of applause] But He will not destroy it with what many minds have thought Him to be. He will destroy it with fire. And many will turn and be saved, and many will rebel and be destroyed."

(Benny Hinn, Prophecy for the 90's tape, 1/1/1990)

BENNY HINN
Benny Hinn is the shining star in the crown of TBN and Paul Crouch treats him with great care. There seems to be nothing that Benny Hinn can do or say that will cause Paul Crouch to question his integrity, truthfulness or doctrinal principles.

Benny Hinn commands tremendous crowds all over the world and claims to be a prophet and to speak with God on an almost daily basis. He claims to have been transported to heaven and has received many revelations and visions. He claims to be a prophet and speaks the direct words of God. He claims to be able to heal and has also claimed that persons would be raised from the dead under his ministry and that of TBN. In an interview with Larry King, he claimed to have healed himself by watching a previously recorded broadcast of his own message.

Benny Hinn's claims are self-proclaimed and are not backed or confirmed by any credentials from God. He claims to be able to heal, but he has never presented any evidence that he has healed a visible disease or defect. He has never restored a missing arm or leg, never healed a Down's Syndrome individual, never healed a congenitally deformed person, restored a missing eye or removed scars as a result of acid or burns. Benny Hinn's claims to healings are always of the internal and invisible type and no proof is ever produced as to their validity.
"But here's first what I see for TBN. You're going to have people raised from the dead watching this network. You're going to have people raised from the dead watching TBN. I'm telling you, I see this in the Spirit. It's going to be so awesome. Jesus, I give you praise for this, that people around the world, maybe not so much in America, people around the world who will lose loved ones, will say to undertakers, 'Not yet. I want to take my dead loved one and place him in front of that TV set for 24 hours.'

I'm telling you, I can feel the anointing talking here. People are going to be canceling funeral services and bringing their dead in their caskets, placing them, my God! I feel the anointing here, placing them before a television set, waiting for God's power to come through and touch them. And it's going to happen time and time, so much it's going to spread. You're going to hear it from Kenya to Mexico to Europe to South America, where people will be raised from the dead. So much so that the word will spread that if some dead person be put in front of this TV screen, they will be raised from the head and they will be by the thousands.

I see rows of caskets lining up in front of this TV set and I see them bringing them closer to the TV set and as people are coming closer I see loved ones picking up the hands of the dead and letting them touch the screen and people are getting raised as their hands are touching that screen."
BENNY HINN, Praise The Lord, TBN Trinity Broadcasting Network, October 19, 1999

"The Lord also tells me to tell you in mid 90s, about '94 or '95, no later than that, God will destroy the homosexual community of America. He will destroy it with fire."
BENNY HINN, Prophecy given: Orlando Christian Center, 1989

"The Spirit of God tells me, an earthquake will hit the East Coast of America and destroy much in the 90s."
BENNY HINN, Prophecy given: Orlando Christian Center, 1989

"The Spirit tells me, Fidel Castro will die in the 90s. Holy Spirit just said to me, it'll be worse than any death you can imagine."
BENNY HINN, Prophecy given: Orlando Christian Center, 1989

"God the Father, ladies and gentleman, is a person and He is a triune being by Himself, separate from the Son and the Holy Ghost. See, God the Father is a person, God the Son is a person, God the Holy Ghost is a person; but each one of them is a triune being by himself. If I can shock you and maybe I should, there s nine of them! What did you say? Let me explain. God the Father, ladies and gentlemen, is a person with his own personal spirit, with his own personal soul and his own personal spirit body. You say, I never heard that! Well, you think you are in church to hear things you heard for the last fifty years?"
BENNY HINN

Benny Hinn teaches false doctrine. His career as a prophet has been chronicled as one of failure. He is unable to prophesy, because he is not a prophet and not anointed by God. He is a false prophet and is declared to be so in Deuteronomy 18:20-22. Yet, he continues on in his "ministry", never apologizing for his errors or repenting to God for claiming what God did not reveal to him. Paul Crouch has decided that he has greater authority than God and ignores the Scripture in Deuteronomy 18:20-22, regarding the definition of a false prophet, and continues to support Benny Hinn and defends every word that he says.

KENNETH COPELAND
Kenneth Copeland is one of the most famous of the Word Of Faith teachers in the religious world today. He has taken most of his teaching from that of Kenneth "Dad" Hagin, his mentor.
God is a "spirit-being with a body, complete with eyes, and eyelids, ears, nostrils, a mouth, hands and fingers, and feet".
Kenneth Copeland ministry letter, July 21, 1977

"God spoke Adam into existence in authority with words (Gen. 1:26, 28). These words struck Adam's body in the face. His body and God were exactly the same size."
Holy Bible, Kenneth Copeland Reference Edition, 1991, p. 45

"God's reason for creating Adam was His desire to reproduce Himself... He was not a little like God. He was not almost like God. He was not subordinate to God even. Adam is as much like God as you could get, just the same as Jesus. ...Adam, in the Garden of Eden, was God manifested in the flesh."
Following the Faith of Abraham I, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Copeland Ministries, Fort Worth, Texas, 1989, tape 01-3001, side 1.

Claiming that he spoke to Jesus Christ personally, he says that Jesus Christ said the following:
"Don't be disturbed when people accuse you of thinking you are God ... They crucified Me for claiming I was God. I didn't claim that I was God; I just claimed that I walked with Him and that He was in Me. Hallelujah! That's what you're doing ..."
"Take Time to Pray," Believer's Voice of Victory, February 1987, p. 9

Kenneth Copeland is a false teacher and a very dangerous man in relation to the Biblical message. He does not teach correct doctrine and he teaches another Jesus Christ who is different from the Jesus Christ of the Bible. Kenneth Copeland teaches heresy. Paul Crouch supports Kenneth Copeland and takes no interest in the serious nature of his heretical teachings.
These are only two of the false teachers and false prophets who are supported and proclaimed as representative of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit by Paul Crouch. There are numerous other false teachers and false prophets who appear on TBN and are supported and promoted by Paul Crouch.

Beginning his ministry in 1978, almost a generation after Kenneth Hagin and ten years after Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis continues the Positive Confession, Word of Faith, health, wealth and prosperity doctrines originally fostered by his mentors. Considering himself a Christian comedian, he believes, and has stated, that God requested of him, "Jesse, make Me laugh." Apparently Jesse Duplantis considers himself to be so original in comedic thought, that he is able to think of jokes that God does not already know! Jesse Duplantis also continues the tradition of claiming direct revelations and conversations with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. He also claims that he was transported to heaven where he met Abraham, king David, the apostle Paul, Jesus Christ and saw the feet of God as He sat on His throne. He also claims to have seen proto-babies flying around God's throne asking God to make them spirits and send them to earth to be redeemed persons, reminiscent of Mormon "pre-existence" doctrine.

Jesse Duplantis teaches the Positive Confession wordspeak doctrine, teaching that believers have the right to demand that God provide them with their desires and visualizations; most of which are monetary wealth and physical health. Jesse Duplantis claims that God wants all believers to be wealthy, healthy, self-assured and with a positive attitude of self-esteem. He also teaches the concept of planting seed, or a version of Oral Roberts' "Seed Faith," [ Giving and Receiving ] by which a believer contributes a sum of money and receives back a multiple increase from God. Of course it is assumed that the money will be given to Jesse Duplantis and his ministry.

Just like in the ministry of Kenneth Copeland, untold millions are given to Jesse Duplantis by Christians who do not really know what he teaches in relation to the Bible. They simply believe everything that Jesse Duplantis says, not exercising any discernment, because they do not know the Scriptures and do not study the Bible to verify the truth or falsity of what he claims. The Christian church is without discernment and, as such, is unable to see the difficulties presented by the teachings of Jesse Duplantis.

Miles.....don't go by Everything you read or hear today.

A lot of "untruths" are ALSO being spread about TRUE men and women of God today..... all a part of the times.

That is why again ,it is always best to just keep focused on God... and not on man in the first place....and to also be guarded about what or who you listen to.

Cause again, there are also a lot of "untruths" and rumours being spread today too, about God's TRUE people in ministry.

Best to just pray .

ps....The Holy Spirit indwelling the believer, lets the believer know the difference between the voice of God ...versus the voice of a stranger(false prophet)...so we don't have to go around looking for...or worrying about false prophets.

Just rest in the Lord..and stay focused on the Lord.
And His Word.

And when we do ..God will lead us and guide us into all truth... and will warn us IF our feet should go in the wrong direction..or if we per chance, are listening to a false teacher.

These people are the ones taking in all the money. tearing down other ministries as cults. And I know for a fact bacause i saw the program where this suppose Prophet said this greatest earthquake in history was going to happen. He went into a Trance and said thel-rd thy g-d says this is going to happen and they all got excited and said this man was a true Prophet and everyone could believe and know it would happen. Cbn the next day had this man on and said the same thing. Then i watched the day it was to happen and the next day and both CBN and TBN sID THAT IT DID HAPPEN IT WAS JUST SO FAR DOWN IN THE EARTH WE COULD NOT FEEL IT. nO NEWS REPORTS OF AN EARTHQUAKE NOTHING. tHEY SAT THIER AND LIED INSTEAD OF OWNING UP TO THIS GUY BEING A FALSE PROPHET.

wHAT THEY TEACH IS NOT BIBLICAL THEY WANT YOU TO BELIEVE GIVING TO THEM IS GIVING TO YAHWEH. TBN HE OWNS A 5 MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE AND PAT ROBERTSON IS WORTH OVER 100 MILLION ALL COMING FROM DONATIONS. They will have alot to answer for and need to be exposed for what they are. The Apostles did send letters about certain false prophets. to many people have seen them for so long they just believe they are good ole boys. They are what I believe Peter said Angels of Light transformed by Satan himself. Blessings..Miles
