<----that dog was more loyal than any person in my life she died a year ago at the age of 16 Sorry about your dog---my son's dog of 13 yrs. died a year ago, too, and he's still so sad. Wish I could have a dog where I live, but my landlord doesn't allow them. I've never had a dog, but they are indeed great friends! Anyway, I have a lot of "acquaintances", but 4 great friends who have been there for me always, and I'm thankful for them every day! ![]() |

i thought i did for sixteen years...til he committed suicide june 7th 1990,kinda adds a twist to trust and loyalty... ![]() I doubt your friend was clear enough thinking to realize that you would feel so betrayed. A sad but common feeling for surviors of suicide. My condolences. |

I have several long term friends but the unfortuneate side effect of moving around a lot is most of them are long distance and it takes great effort to send time together. Thankfully several of my family are also friends.

I have several long term friends but the unfortuneate side effect of moving around a lot is most of them are long distance and it takes great effort to send time together. Thankfully several of my family are also friends. I know that feeling, every one of my closest friends live at least 300 miles from me. But, the effort it takes to maintain those relationships is soooooooooooooooooo worth it ![]() |
