Silent Wrongs
Beneath the pale and silver Of the night's full moon, Two shadows walk so silent, Within a cast of darkened noon. Tears fall from their eyes, For one feels they're not to be. One is deeply saddened For crushed and futile are his dreams. One thought his love was strong, So strong it couldn't break, Counting on forever To keep his love in place. One thought she was in love To the most perfect of all men, Counting on her beauty To keep him lured in. They both had found a passion But never kept it fed, Tainted by the world, Their love forgot to spread. They thought they shared a heart But learned it was a lie, They only shared a passion That lived until it died. Now both are deeply sorry For what they thought was love And filled their hearts with saddness Which will never be enough. Whatever path they take There's lessons to be learned, Trust is oft a virtue With a love that may be earned. Fadedspirit 10/5/2008 |

Yup... I know that feeling as well.
So you go down the path again, A twisted winding road, Learn lessons from the past, With open eyes you do go slow. When the time is right, Love will be found again, You take the time to know, If the person is a true friend. |

Thanks PKD. That's true, but there are some that would rather take the time to understand the difference. Aww, thanks shauna. |
