Topic: The Colors Of Fall | |
---|---|
The Colors Of Fall As the season of death creeps in Little does he know, That with the change of life The beauty that will show. The changing of the leaves With colors of brown, red and gold, Will be the luster of beauty That stands out so bold. Although Spring has its colors And growing life abounds, The colors of Fall are resilient As the leaves float around. The changing of the leaves With colors of brown, gold and red, Will be welcoming in winter When things will soon be dead. Enjoy it while you can Because it won't last long, All things beautiful Will soon be gone. But then, when old man winter Slips in with all his might, Things will be a lustrous Ground covering of white. |

Ahhh Fall
The noblest of seasons Winter lies dormant awaiting the warmth of the spring sun to start new life Spring - Rebirth and the fresh Kaleidoscope of wildflowers on the mountain side Summer Glorious summer The forest alive and trees in full canopy But Fall Oh my goodness Fall We have so much to learn from the leaf that struggles not to hang on but eases into letting go................. |

That reminds me - I still have the leaves I collected for you - I'll send them on down...
Autumn in New England (well, in my neck of the woods) is beginning in a beautiful crimson, followed by orange and yellow to gold........should peak in the Northern part of New Hampshire within the next week or so......... Poem matches well to a true description of the upcoming seasons........... You DO have a true gift with words Robert... |
