I'm finally the happiest I've ever been now that I've gone away from what I was "told" was right all this time... and actually went with what I "feel" is right, for me. What I was called for. I don't think religion, of any kind, should make you miserable and confused. IMO to many people go to church because they're "supposed to". I don't think it is at all possible to have one religion that is right for everyone. Therefore there can't be just one God, or even if there is just one, there has to be more than one way to "him"

I always ask people why they believe what they believe, and after a lot of hmm'n, and hawwwn' it comes down to faith, and feelings.
Well people who have limbs amputated feel a leg . . . does that mean the leg is really there? People use to have faith in Zues, Odin, Ra, the list goes on and on. So why do we not have faith in those gods anymore? It comes down to if you are taught to believe something you will probably believe it . . . . if you are taught critical thinking skills and given the ability to doubt then you probably will . . . |
