The Taxpayer by signature affixed to this declaration hereby demands and declares...

1. That in calling for a vote upon an instrument of law which was clearly not wanted by the Citizens of the United States the United States Senate has placed upon future generations of Americans Taxation Without Representation.

2. That Taxation Without Representation has been unacceptable to the Citizens of the United States from the time of the founding of our Nation.

3. That any United States Senator who voted YEA on the Paulson Plan or any such attempt to use taxpayer monies to purchase financial instruments or illiquid assets resign from his or her position within such resonable time as may determined by consensus of the Citizens of the United States

4. That the Supreme court protect the rights of the Citizens of the United states to regress this unaceptable disreguard of the voice of said Citizens by using the judicial authority granted its august body by the Constitution of the United States of America to remove such Senators and any Congressional Representative that has by vote shown their disreguard of the voice of the Citizens of the United States.

I am having trouble connecting... I will keep trying though.

I have no faith in the peoples house actually representing our voice.

There are enough sweet pork attached to the bill now to sway them...

and from what I have been finding out many many lobby groups have been hitting the Hill hard... With money in hand.

here is a small sample of some of the pork added to the Senate bailout spew, I mean stew.

Here's a list of new & "extended" pork included in the Senate version:

New Tax earmarks in Bailout bill
- Film and Television Productions (Sec. 502)
- Wooden Arrows designed for use by children (Sec. 503)
- 6 page package of earmarks for litigants in the 1989 Exxon Valdez incident, Alaska (Sec. 504)
Tax earmark “extenders” in the bailout bill.
- Virgin Island and Puerto Rican Rum (Section 308)
- American Samoa (Sec. 309)
- Mine Rescue Teams (Sec. 310)
- Mine Safety Equipment (Sec. 311)
- Domestic Production Activities in Puerto Rico (Sec. 312)
- Indian Tribes (Sec. 314, 315)
- Railroads (Sec. 316)
- Auto Racing Tracks (317)
- District of Columbia (Sec. 322)
- Wool Research (Sec. 325)

That ought to fix the liquidity mess, huh?

This is how the Senate listens to us.

They are addicted to something that is not healthy. free lunch programs that are not free.

they stuck all that stuff in there so it will cull the 'proper' vote from amoung the NAY voters on the last attempt by the house to pass this dungified plan.

Well, I'm disgusted. I couldn't connect to the e-mail system at the House, called my reps office to get an e-mail address, they said they are having serious system issues due to high volume and suggested that I send a fax as they're having no trouble with that. Yeah, right. Been faxing for over an hour with no luck. It's either busy or it rings then immediately disconnects.

Our tax dollars at work again. grumble grumble frustrated

Why the treason against the people?

You folks in Washington knew full well that the American people were resoundingly against the propping up of poorly ran predatory financial systems, yet you chose to ram it through, even after it had been voted down by the House.

Let me ask a rhetorical question: How many times were you elitists planning on pushing this thing back down the throats of the American people before you got it passed? Don't worry about answering that, the American people know that answer to that, which is, as many as it took to save those that paid to put you in power.

I assure you that I will be doing everything that is afforded to me by my rights and the law to see that you, who ignored the will of the people, will not be in those seats long enough to do it again.
You folks do understand that by ignoring the treason against the people and the Constitution, you can be held responsible for that treason? Those that took part, you have all violated your oaths to the Constitution and should resign your Senatorial seats and turn yourselves in immediately.

And let's take this one step further, those that changed their votes from "nay" to "aye" in the House after the Senate "sweetened the deal" should be brought up on charges of accepting a bribe and tried like the criminals they are. If I offered something to someone in exchange for a vote, I'd be guilty of a crime and they'd be guilty if they accepted, so why is this any different?

The truely terrifing thing about this is that their 'high volume' is not because of us. It is because the firms on wall street have hired callers and emailers to spam the system with 'please vote yes'... Saw this on CNN late yesterday afternoon. If true we stand no chance.

Are you f'n kidding me? How is a direct manipulation/distortion of the voice of the American people legal?

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I did call back and spoke with a woman in his office who gave me her direct e-mail to send my message to. I don't for a minute believe it did any good whatsoever and doubt it actually got anywhere near where it was supposed to but at least I got it through somewhere.
