After The Storm
I feel your storm is raging, Yet you're so alone. Cold and nearly crying, You just wish you were at home. Your heart is cut and bleeding As your spirit screams for rage. Close your eyes now dear one, Evade your tempest's cage. You'll never find your center, While mists surround so deep. Run to me dear loved one, In me you'll find your keep. You never mind the rain When there's thunder deep inside. Somwhere way down low, A tempest seeks to hide. Weary from the battle And exhausted from the storm, Close your eyes now dear one, I've got you safe and warm. Awaken to the darkness Where nothing is the key, Let yourself now rest here, While YOU cease to be. Rest and gently slumber And do not strive to dream, Let your mind be absent For there's nothing here to see. In morning's ushered birdsong, Aroused from slumber's deep, Awaken my dear loved one In peace's serenity. Fadedspirit 9/24/2008 |

With the dripping of the rain on my window pain.
I feel her passion within my flesh, as she says. 'Turn out the lights', and hush. wink. Nice poem man.. |
