What about irrational reasons to vote for Obama? He preaches change, but do people even look at his policies? Because they want to see the first African American president. He is not even technically african american. "That means that Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side. He is 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side." Even though his father lived in Kenya, his nationality according to Kenyan government was Arabic. (not that race should play a part in the election anyway) Because he is Charismatic. Speaking will only get you so far. Can he do more than just talk? IDK, he hasn't been around long enough to demonstrate this. He's been around long enough for me. I live in Missouri and he's from Illinois - right across the river from me. We have been hearing alot about him for quite awhile. And, gosh, I had better find out how much of each nationality I have in me!! |

but what exactly is he saying? Stalin was a really charismatic speaker too so I'm trying to look past that I watched what he said last night. Didn't you turn the volume down? How can you hear what he is saying? His people send me emails that tell me where he stands on the issues. |

How can you hear what he is saying? His people send me emails that tell me where he stands on the issues. I was wondering that, too. How can someone hear what they're saying if they're just watching body language? |

was it just me or did i see mccain taking the smallest tidbits and blowing them up to make them sound phenominally bad ... or good?
yea, like the bracelet...well, at least we know that mother will be voting for him. He mentioned her on national tv! or like the preconditions? ![]() |

I thought they both were doing a lot of tap dancing
there was so much spin from the both that it was like a delicately choreographed dance (which it of course literally was) |

He mentioned her on national tv! or like the preconditions? ![]() Obama said he had a bracelet from a mother too. I have never sat and watched McCain at length before. I thought he did what you said. Several times he was saying Republican slogans like I've heard on the right-wing radio station. That was a turn off to me. It wasn't rally time. It was time to talk about the issues. |

yeah there was a LOT of repetition of the same old talking points from them both
I didnt get a whole lot of new information from it |

Well someone is telling the truth...
I still think McCain would be the real agent for change than OBAMA. McCain has a proven record while OBAMA does not. In addition, all OBAMA's decisions look more like politics as usual than being an agent for change. He talks the talk but has not yet walked the walk...by his own actions. These times are too crucial to leave up to an inexperienced untried person. I could see a real change if the house flips & McCain as prez...I don't see it with OBAMA. He tows the partyline all too much. |

starements like that just make me want to vote for mccain.and it shows the lack of knowledge on the issues that obama and his disciples have
