If you were The Boss... which team would you hire?
With America facing historic debt, multiple war fronts, stumbling health care, a weakened dollar, all-time high prison population, skyrocketing Federal spending, mortgage crises, bank foreclosures, etc. etc., this is an unusually critical election year. Let's look at the educational background of the candidates and see what they bring to the job: Obama: Occidental College - Two years. Columbia University - B.A. political science with a specialization in international relations. Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna Cum Laude & Biden: University of Delaware - B.A. in history and B.A. in political science. Syracuse University College of Law - Juris Doctor (J.D.) vs. McCain: United States Naval Academy - Class rank 894 out of 899 (meaning that, like George Bush, McCain was at the bottom of his class) Palin: Hawaii Pacific University - 1 semester North Idaho College - 2 semesters - general study University of Idaho - 2 semesters - journalism Matanuska-Susitna College - 1 semester University of Idaho - 3 semesters - B.A. in journalism Now, which team are you going to hire to lead the most influential nation in the world? |

Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura...
Wait, Dr.Paul endorsed Baldwin. I'll know more about Baldwin in a few days, I have one of their mailers coming, I might even post some of it, if it's any good. |

umm, seems like we are being forced to take care of a big mess, that small government has caused. Guess most americans think it is okay to let foxes watch the hen house.

Definitely the more prepared team, Obama/Biden of course. We have already seen how in touch with reality McCain is and Palin is a joke. I would have thought because she was a woman I would favor her but NO WAY! |

haha
Team A Guy who could only win running unopposed in state legislature Perennial presidential candidate failure Team B War hero and veteran legislator with independent streak Most popular state governor in America this kind of thing has no real value. Obama is clearly not well qualified to be president. McCain is qualified but may be hamstrung by his party and right wing idealogues. no good choices here. the Dems really blew it this year they should be crushing McCain. now it could go either way... |

I would hire someone that is analytical and not a hothead that doesn't think before he acts.
Pretty self explanatory really. Vote for what you can live with for the next 4/8 years.... |

Both parties are equally capable of undertaking the task. Unfortunately it's abit more complicated. For starters, even though there are several acts that give the president more power than the executive branch should have, the branch is still limited. You need congress to agree on most things. Congress is owned. Unfortunately so are McCain and Obama. In fact the more you dig the more you will find the similarities on policies. They both want business as usual. The diference is Obama is better at giving speeches. But that is shadowed by his plans of increased government spending, getting more involved in foreign countries, all well lowering taxes.... Yeah, right. I think you will find that most of our economic problems (gas prices, health care, etc.) are caused by the dollar being devalued. McCain and Obama are basically campaigning to bring the value of that dollar down even more. When you increase government spending, and not auditing the fed, the fed prints more money. The more "unbacked" money you bring into the system the lower our dollar value is. So, ironically, Obama's health care system, where it may insure many people, will actually backfire due to the costs. People also think his foreign policy will save money because of withdrawl from Iraq, he wants to send MORE help to MORE third world countries, and to top it off he plans on taking the Afganistan fight into Pakistan. No money being saved there.... If anyone has logical arguments against any of this please bring them to my attention. I don't even think i need to mention the dirt we all have on McCain. I care not about backgrounds unless you bring in voting records, or lobbying. Now both parties have VERY questionable records on that. (Even though Obama spoke against lobbying. Actions speak louder than words.) Looking at policies, niether candidate cares about civil liberties, foreign policies, or the economy, so my vote is going to someone who will. |

Keating 5, Dumped his wife with a limp for a sugar mama, potentially provided aid and comfort to the enemy, Lying out his behind about Amnesty, McCain-Feingold, not to mention it seems his judgement is in the toilet and one shining example of that is his VP pick, who seems to be allergic to Journalists.
