It's around the corner and will be here quicker than we think...so I am starting early...here's the first of the many I will come up with. Spooky The Cat Black as midnight A coat so sheen, Eyes so piercing They stare so keen. Her tail twitches So quick and fast, In the moonlit night Her shadow is cast. She lurches in stealth Creeping so sly, The full moon hangs In the darkened sky. On this Halloween night With a ghostly fare, The sounds of eeriness Float in the air. She adds to the horror With her hissing sound, As the clock strikes twelve In the middle of town. The goblins and ghosts Roam through the streets, As Spooky the cat Displays her clawed feet. |

Watch out - she likes to pounce on things - especially when you're not suspecting it...... |
