Teach My Thy Ways

Wolf,
Teach me thy ways,
Strength,
To see me through the days.
Guidance
To lead me on a straight path,
Cunning,
To outsmart the every day wrath.
Stealth,
For balance and skill,
And the sight
To see your great will.

If I'm to be
The lone wolf, howling in the wind,
Let it be then
Till I find that one true friend.
For I will see
Your teachings through your eyes,
Knowing the truth of spirit
Within my heart lies.
Oh brother wolf
With this prayer, teach me to know,
The path to take
With your guidance, you will show.

Patience my friend is the beginning of all things great. Time teaches us humility, asking for whatever we need is the first steps to having our desires granted. Great writing form the heart Wolf one

Hi Wolfey,I am still in the UK Just did not pan out the way I expected, but; as they say, life goes on.

Listen for in the distance is a longgggggg
mournful howling answer. For a wolf is meant
to be with a mate. Prowl alone for now, but
keep those wolf ears perked for the answering
cry.

Thank you so much Susan..my ears are perked and the howls are in the wind and hoping my mate will hear them lonesome cries.

I must say - this is a very powerful poem........full of strength and guidance - seeking it shows how time will tell.......time tells all things....especially destiny.......you are NOT meant to be alone, and she will hear and respond to the cry of the lone wolf, as the sprite would hear the cry in your story.....BUT......until you are prepared to love her with your whole heart and soul, she will never completely be yours, hence the cry of the lone wolf.......
