Topic: Any Vegas Metro Police about? | |
---|---|
Few questions if a few do exist here on the site. I'm going to be looking at going to school for forensic technology and forensic investigation (encompassing evidence collection and analyze, particle dusting, etc.) and I'm looking at going to Vegas to start a career as a police officer before I get my start in the Crime Scene Analyst's. I was wondering as to how difficult it is to become a cop in Vegas, such as the background checks/polygraph and the physical training? If anyone can help me out here it would be great, even if you are a cop in another big city.

Your best bet is a degree in criminal justice and a masters in forensics. Then they will all want you.

Your best bet is a degree in criminal justice and a masters in forensics. Then they will all want you. See I was thinking that, however I also want to get a doctorate in entomology. So between all those courses I don't know what all I will be able to fit in along with working on the side it could become overburdening for me. |
