FORT WAINWRIGHT, Alaska -- Gov. Sarah Palin linked the war in Iraq with the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, telling an Iraq-bound brigade of soldiers that included her son that they would "defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans."

The idea that Iraq shared responsiblilty with al-Qaida for the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, once promoted by Bush administration officials, has since been rejected even by the president himself. On any other day, Ms. Palin's statement would almost certainly have drawn a harsh rebuke from Democrats, but both parties had declared a halt to partisan activities to mark yesterday's anniversary.

"America can never go back to that false sense of security that came before September 11, 2001," she said.

Umm... you don't have to scrape the bottom of anything to call Bush a liar, all you have to do is wait for him to speak and you can be sure that there is some fallicies in there somewhere.

Well, see, I think, MadMan, that she felt compelled to lie, because she thinks the war in Iraq is Gods war..., which is her statement also... but wait, good Christians aren't supposed to lie, but isn't that to be expected for the SuperChristies to do that if it suits their ends?

I guess I should clarify, since I've used the phrase SuperChristy a few times: SuperChristies are those who feel like, because they go to a big church full of like minded people, they have the moral superiority to ignore the seperation of Church and state and start forcing their Ideaology on the rest of the world... but they themselves don't have to adhere to any of it, if they don't feel like it. Those are the SuperChristies.

The more I look into Palin, the more I'm reminded of Cheney, but with more of Bush's level of cognitive ability... If Cheney and Bush had a kid, Palin would be it.
