could be what input your wires are in on back of tv. there is usually more than one input for aux. try changing input select/aux on remote. example: line 1,line 2, aux, dvd, vcr,s-video, etc. don't know if it will help, but that usually happens with me.

Yeah, well, I apologize if my post came after the 2 above me, didn't see those while I was typing

I'm not raggin I just thought it was funny you got all in detail about everything on her tv thats all
well i checked again to make sure the plugin and my av cord are fine which it was and well i still hear the sound but i get a black tv screen
And you tried going through all the video lines on the tv too?
yeah ive tried everyy red and yellow and white hole on the tv and vcr the only think that does anything are the holes on the back of the thats the only place i get the sound from
If your using your VCR you might have to change the tv/video on the VCR and have the wires going to the IN
yeah tired the vcr made sure it was just on vcr and plug all those cords into every hole not luck and when i did that didnt get any sounds
What worked better for you, in the back of the tv or the vcr?
the back of the tv thats where i actually got sound but still black screen
And you plugged the video cable in all the video jax and and tried every video line on your tv
yeah i mean ive set it up before with no issue and i dont know what to do im almost desperate to call xbox
i went back and i was really shaking the av cord with it in the system and i could see the gamer screen but i can only see it when i wiggle the cord like hard

Are you sure you are using AV cables and not component? I accidentally had those on separate channels before. Also, the wire that connects the cables to the tv, on the xbox end has a little switch that switches btw HD and non HD. If you don't have an HD tv and it is set to HD you will not be able to see it.

tweak the cord and try to keep it steady for it to stay and you might get it. Something might have came loose in your xbox
