You can laugh ALL YOU WANT, behind my BACK that is..... I LITERALLY tear up hearing her voice and hearing her and her brother reminds me of the loss of such a brilliant star in the sky. And her brother is also so talented. I respect her in ways she never could respect herself. Isn't that always the way?

She indeed had a beautiful voice ... and exuded such warmth, depth & serenity...... which is tragically ironic as she never saw herself as the rest of the world did. Her passing was a huge loss... though it was the first time that society sat up and took anorexia seriously.

Does any one know what Karen's brother is doing now? I haven't heard anything in many years. Sure hope he's still around.

I was 8 months pregnant the day she passed and sat in my living room floor and cried like a baby when I heard She was my idol

Does any one know what Karen's brother is doing now? I haven't heard anything in many years. Sure hope he's still around. do you as well forget that you have a LIBRARY just under your fingertips? do a search here man. yes, i still love to listen to her music.

My music tastes are very eclectic. I`m more of a "hard rock" type to borrow the title from back in the day. But I loved the Carpenters music. Karen and Richard were so talented. When Karen passed, I took it as hard as I did when Jimi, Janis, Jim, Keith, and Bonzo passed away. May they all rest in peace.
