I agree with your point lily, but it still sounds like you're knocking pretty hard. Aww I thought she was being humorously realistic... It is what it is, I'm not going to romanticize somehting and not know exactly what it was... It wasn't all princesses and dragon slayers and kingdoms like some would like to believe... Ok an what is soo much better about now?? Are you starving, do you have all of your appendages, do you have medical care in an emergency, do you have a sewer and running water, do you have soap, can you speak out about your government, if you don't pay your bills does someone come to kill you....... Yes, you are correct there are still places that things of that nature happen, but it's not EVERY place... In this country however if you don't have a place to sleep food in your stomache it's your own damn fault. There is public assistance available to them, they chose not to take it and obey the rules of it. |
