Summer of 1980 a gentle soul joined our family
Married my then to be Mother in Law and said Union begun
Filling our Hearts with Laughter words of wisdom he shared
Giving himself fully to this wild family affair
Oh such a brave soul was he..
Armando is kind and gentle, laid back in his own way
Grouchy at times when his dinner was not on time
Funny how that came to mind...
We got a call and invite if you like
Was told there's news to share
Now this clan of mine If you know us well

A meal and some family fun, were always on time
The Barbi-que was smelling good lots of laughter in the air
Grandma Flo as the kids call her,,,
Says I asked you all here we need to chat lets all sit a bit
Grandbabies were resting we all settled in
Grandma began to speak, the tears were flowing
My Heart skips a beat her voice made my Soul sink
8 Weeks ago the Doctor's said he has not much time to live
I'm sorry I waited so long to say
My Love of Life will leave us soon
Cancer has taken his mind
I got the call just past 8 was told his time has come
Grandma Flo says he is smiling now the Angels took him home
Life is so amazing my Daughter don't forget what life has taught you
Live it fully with love and kindness and smile along the way
I love you she whispers under her tears
There's holes in the floor of Heaven
Angels have smiled today...

As the teardrops fall from Heaven and gently touch your face look towards Heaven. You see for the Angels teardrops flow in order to wash away your hurt. As they welcome another of God's Angels to the flock

I know your heart is heavy, remember they have just gained the highest honor to be with God
