What are the chances of me finding a real relationship hear?

Considering you just joined today....I'd say wait awhile before you ask that question.
Here's what I've heard. Spruce up your profile, put plenty of pictures on it and try to be the best speller you can be! Not that I follow any of those, but that's what I've learned so far.

It's really difficult to predict -- several of my best friends on this site have found their matches here, proving that it can work for some people. But I've been here for a year and 9 months and have yet to find anyone even remotely compatible who doesn't live 897,000 miles away. Then again, I'm sort of "selective."

Best thing to do is to post in the forums, get to know the people here, and let them get to know you. It can seem a little daunting at first -- but once you settle in, you can make a lot of friends and get tons of e-mail. And maybe even find someone you like....!

It depends on you and on if you are persistent. That doesn't mean stalking them, it means going on to another person if things do not work out. You can expect to fail and have your heart broke. Do you have the courage to keep looking? To keep putting your heart out there?
