I'm going to the garden
A little Sprite to find I'm going to work there with her To help me unwind We've found a place for sitting Under the big old tree There I'll plant some moss and mushrooms So we can sit more comfortably Here we'll sit for hours Talking all day long Listening to the blue bird As he sings to us his song The wind blows us a melody Whistling through the grass We're wishing for eternity Watching this day pass For now on my knees There in the dirt Wiping sweat from my brow On the sleeve of my shirt Mushrooms and moss Making a wonderful seat My satisfying task Nearly complete Sprite work your magic Like only you know how Your kiss of color Is needed now Thank you dear friend For this garden I see And being the one That shares it with me Lots of love and prayers to you Kim
