Oh Masey thank you so much Darlin. I have to be honest and sya you have
turned me on since I first met ya (like you said it is a dating site, lol). But as far as the forumns go, I have very little chance to speak my views on some things, and love the opportunity to do so here. As you have probably seen, I do have some stron beliefs and views, and some of them DO side with Gary (yeah surprising I know, lol). But I try to always have a possible answer before I post something. Unless I am looking for advise or opinions. |

I have to agre with you too cb. Yes the press states otherwise. I dont
believe in the press being able to be over there inthe first place because the only thnig they DO talk about is the negative. If you notice, ALL the major networks insist on announciong the number of deaths since Iraq fired up again every day. I am sorry folks but Iraq IS A BATTLEFIELD (even if we are not at war) and there will be casualties. On the plus side however, they DO have a new government that has been elected by it's people. Yes they are having problems enforcing it; that is one reason we are still there. But they have opted to go with a voting government and let it's people speak. |

I guess we might make a good match then luv as I love to speak my mind,
when Iknow I have something to stand on ;) lol. Seriously though, I have considered running for a local office before, and have not made up my mind yet if I will do so. I AM a single parent and they come first. I also have some things to clean up (like my debts, lol) so the people would know I can be trusted. But I do have a lot of ideas that are good (they may not be what the public wants but they are good ideas). I owuld love to discuss some of these with you if you would like. Or with anyone else that would like to. |

An evil dictator was deposed and now millions of Iraquis have a chance
at freedom if we help them. A free democratic Iraq is a serious threat to the dictatorships in it's neighbors Syria and Iran and those two nations are doing everything they can to destabilize Iraq in pursuit of their own vested interests. General George S. Patton said "The trouble with politicians is they always leave us with another war to fight." This will be the case if we walk away from Iraq. If you start something finish it. We didn't finish the job in Korea and now we have a fanatical dictator in power with nuclear weapons and a million man army. We didn't finish the job in Viet Nam and PolPot and the Khemer Rouge murdered 3 million people in Cambodia. We didn't finish the job in Somallia and Al Quita became more powerful and bold as a result. Appeasing a dictator had never worked in the past we should have learned that in the 1930s with Hitler. Unfortunately there are those who think we can do more of the same thing and get different results. |
