Are these two unknown terms? Do folk really not distinguish between the two? I clearly state in my profile, which says I believe in unicorns... that this is an abstract reference.
So I keep getting mails about the fact that I believe in unicorns and I get frustrated sometimes. |

My unicorn reference is actually quite simple (at least to me, since I wrote it
 ). When I was a young girl, I believed in the simple wonder and beauty of the world, including love and romance. The days of wow, it's peaches and rainbows and butterflies, ya know? I want to remember that it can STILL be that way and to focus on the simple things and the wonder of that sort of feeling, and to not take it for granted. I chose unicorns as they are a common symbol of love. It was just an abstract reference.
I do NOT actually believe in unicorns. Those who read my profile will see that, if they take simple moment to read what is written and not what they think I might mean. Bruce, you are concrete. I've explained it to you. You choose not to get it. |
