Topic: A Commendable Soul

My oldest daughter is the You in this poem and I commend her for the good heart she has in what she did. A Commendable Soul She was in distress Not knowing what to do, An abortion came to mind But then, she called you. She needed a friend At the clinic that day, To hold her hand Cause she was afraid. You talked her out of it Though she was distraught, When ya'll heard the heartbeat Of that tiny little tot. She would look at you and ask "Would you be the mother?", Your eyes just lit up As you accepted her utter. You signed the papers Knowing you saved a life, Now you're going to be a mother And also a wife. You're happy and ecstatic Your life is now non-stop, Oh geeze, now that I look at it I'm going to be a Gran Pop.

Congratulations Papa- Your daughter DESERVES to get a copy of this poem Robert - to see just how PROUD you are of her and the decision she made - a decision she and your future son - in - law made to save the life of a child and give him/her a chance to grow up.........one of God's little miracles...... ( Give those to her from me would ya? )

You wil make a wonderful Gran Pa....and it isn't hard to tell who your daughter takes after. I am proud to say that all three have some qualities of their father in them. Thanks Cat, it will be nice to see that angel when he/she is born. Vicki, it is so good to see you again. I certainly will give her a hug. Thanks sweetie.
