I tend to agree with Abra's statistical anaysis of the probabilites of intelligent, extra-terrestrial life. If one subscribes to the "chance" theories about the formation of life, then it is a virtual certainty that intelligent life has evolved in many, many places throughout this universe.
As to alternate/parallel dimensions/universes, I don't really have an opinion about them other than I have trouble envisioning the circumstances that would have to apply in order for there to be any kind of interaction between them. |

the video was really really interesting...I watched all the way up to 10, some of it I already knew, some of it answered some of my questions, and some of it was just hard to digest.
The best part is the supposed huge experience mankind is supposed to witness is in this generation I am living in. I'll be able to witness whatever it is that is really going to happen, or look at my calendar after the night is over, and say wow...I guess it really just was another day, another year, come and gone. |

Yes that is what I am excited about. That I will be here to see if something or .. nothing happens. So cool.

JB, you mentioned proximity to lakes as being one of the determinate factors as it relates to these various mutilated farm animals being discovered? What do you think is the reason for that exactly? Are the aliens interested in large bodies of water?

The Higgs boson particle is the key to the higher density levels. It is what the Draco seek. We must ensure that it does not come into their possesion or the existence of the entire holographic matrix reality will be placed in peril.

we are fallible. are senses are not trust worthy. If aliens are here then evidence is lacking.
If no aliens anywhere, then life is super rare. All evidence points to life being fairly easy given time . . . and the size of the known visible universe like abra very eloquently pointed out is rather insane, allowing for a exceedingly high probability of life out there. But along with that size also comes difficulty in travel. Who knows, I just hope they like me. |

I think the lakes are hiding places for the space craft and could have entrances to underground complexes deep within the lakes. |

The Aliens don't have the key ingredient that it takes to transverse the higher density worlds and your technology won't work there. Even if you succeeded to find a way in, you would be no match for the inhabitants of that world. Give it up. You are doomed.

I think the lakes are hiding places for the space craft and could have entrances to underground complexes deep within the lakes. I believe that could be possible. I used to work at Mammoth Cave. Its one of the 7 wonders of the world. Its the worlds largest cave system. There are many, many caverns the size football fields and endless miles of tunnels, streams, rivers, unique plant, fish, and animal life. All miles underground. An entire city could fit down there and thats just in the explored parts of it. The Native Americans had underground settlments in it. As far as I could tell it was inhabited by humans for millennia. There are all kinds of wonders down there that I have personally witnessed. Its like your in another world. It has its own ecosystem and everything. Simply amazing.

Thats pretty interesting Mirror. I ask about the lakes because I do live adjacent here to Lake Winnipesaukee. Its huge and picturesque and its been a location for movies to be filmed in the past. Im right the hell on it. So far there has never been an incident that I am aware of here of an animal mutilation but I would have no way of knowing that for certain without going to the library and looking it up. We do have a problem with coy dogs. I have two live stock guardian dogs and they bark like crazy if anything comes around and mark the perimeter with their scent. So far no problems with aliens, humans or wild animals but who knows...I keep an open mind about these things.

Krimsa; If you ever get the chance - trek on up to Franconia and check out the caves there. Quite a site. I can remember seeing them as a child and being quite facinated. |

Yeah Im looking this all up online now. I've always been fascinated with caves and labyrinths but not really been able to explore them. Not large ones anyway. I also like bats. I got to touch one in the nocturnal display at a zoo in Seattle. A giant fruit bat. They are heavy and they grip on to your body because its warm.

There is NO cave system greater than Mammoth Cave. You should check it out.

A very interesting book to read is one called "Hunt for the Skin walker."
It is a true story about a group who buys this ranch to investigate the strange goings on and cattle mutilations and sightings there. Very interesting. The ranch is near the four corners. They said at the end of the book that the sightings and the strange things quit happening, and they think the underground experiments moved to Colorado, east of Colorado Springs. Recently a new Military base and underground facility moved in close to where my sister used to live, east of Colorado Springs. I used to live in Colorado Springs... lots of weird things going on in that area. I lived there when there were lots of cattle mutilations. Even a water buffalo in the confines of the Colorado Springs ZOO was killed and mutilated. The Military soon began covering up all the cases, and the news paper stopped printing stories about them, but they still happened. I know because I knew some ranchers. JB |

Where is mammoth cave? I bet there are lots of strange things going on around there. Its here in Kentucky, close to were I live. Its one of the 7 Wonders of the World. The worlds largest cave system and Im not exagerating when I tell you that its mindblowing. Native Americans had villages in parts of it so it is possible for a human to live down there. Ive seen the blind fish and the strange things that grow down there. There are explorers who have gone rafting down the underground rivers that are inside there as well. I gotta tell ya it can get creepy walking through there by yourself. See my previous postings on this thread for more details or just look it up yourself. I could go on for days telling you about the underground world.
