His biological father was a Muslim from Africa.. but from what i've read Obama did not know his father well or spend a significant amount of time with him .. his Step-Father was indonesian and not necessarily religious he did practice a form of islam/hinduism/buddhism.

I haven't read anything about his mother's religion but I do not believe she was a muslim.

If you check out that link I gave you, it says his father was muslim (not radical) and was not practicing by the time he married Obama's mother. It does not say that his mother was muslim.

His step-father WAS NOT a radical muslim. The school he attended was a public school and not focused on religion. He also only attended the school for 2years the other 2 years were spent in Catholic school.

It baffles me that no matter where you try and find out info on the candidates you will find sites that say the exact opposite of the same subject. So I guess its up to us to figure out which sits are more credible. Me personally my father tought me believe half of what you see and none of what you read. So I have to go with my feelings and what I know people have done.
