I'd ask once for an explantion - if I didn't get it from them then I'd just move along. Screw them if they don't value our friendship enough to at least hear my side.

I would assume they weren't a good enough friend in the first place to believe what others say and not simply ask me about it, so I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, nor would I dignify it with a response.... Their loss...

I would assume my good friend is an idiot if he/she didnt come to me first. I have experienced this before and turned out to have an enemy I was unaware of. (ex-girlfriends ex-boyfriend lol) It doesn't bother me much. I see friendships as a mutual thing. If someone doesn't want to be my friend anymore I just as equally don't want to be theres then. Friends come and go, Best friends you can't seem to get rid of. lol |
