Sitting here in contemplation,
Finding solace with elation.
Hoping only now to find,
Solace patience, peace of mind.

Waiting for another shoe,
Gets me down, feelings, true.
Hits me now, shoes are thrown,
Size is nothing when you’re grown.

Shoes of history, tell of life,
Cutting quickly like a knife.
Taking rest, life does offer,
Given all, to the coffer.

Holding on to pennies few,
Friends cherished without shoes.
Tying shoes upon this tree,
Come my friends, we can be free.

Free of lies, free of malice,
Searching for your lasting chalice.
Totems from a life that passed,
Holding for the future Fast.

Lasting now forever then,
Holding true, gentle friend.
Friendships bound within dreams,
Nightmares seen, hearing screams.

Screams of life, from the past,
Holding true, Holding Fast.
Truest feelings, from the night,
Screaming now, unto the light.

Nightmares, day mares, vivid dreams,
Scary shoes wearing screams.
Of the shoes that are grown,
From these trees of life are thrown.

Thrown at those you can deny,
Bigger shoes, the ones that fly.
Ducking, dodging, giant shoes,
Hitting true, they can bruise.

Bruises, cuts they will mend,
Finding solace, with a friend.
They can guide you to the light,
From the deepest depths of night.

Lighting paths, shoes of bliss,
Ducking, dodging, we can miss.
All these things that we seek,
Loving, finding, being meek.

Finding dreams inside elations,
Solace found in Gods creations.
Contemplated thoughts you see,
Searching silence hearing Thee.

Prayers of life, earthly dreams,
Never more, earthly screams.
Wear now shoes of stone,
Never more, am I alone.

Wearing now, shoes of strife,
Never will I find a life.
Finding shoes, fitting right,
Walking slowly, to the light.

Footwear, precious hear this call,
To my friends come one and all.
Wearing shoes without the screams,
Walk with me this Path of Dreams.
