: Do You Think You Learn More ?
DO YOU THINK THAT WITH INTERNET DATING YOU ACTUALLY LEARN MORE ABOUT THE REAL PERSON THAN IF YOU JUST CAUSAL MEET THEM? I will admit that talking to others online I have actually learned more about that person than I had in the past from meeting some one face to face in the beginning or maybe that was just due to I was younger and did not really want to know as much as I do now. But online you have time to talk and laugh and learn about each other plenty of time to talk about the past the future your dreams. You do feel a bit safer and tend to let the walls down a bit that you have built up. Which is good for I have found out that once you meet them it is more like friends right off the bat you feel comfortable around them for all the times you have taken to really hear what they say and the person they are. And it seems the relationship has more of a solid base to stand on if the connection and the chemistry is there after you do meet them. What do ya think do you feel the same or see no different? |

Nope...face to face is the best way

Meh. People can be full of sh*t online even more easily than face to face.
I don't see much of a difference. |

I'm finding that I completely dissagree. On line, you get none of the nuance's, body language, spark's. It seem's too much of a "drive through" to me. For me, it's like you are expected to "know" the person when, indeed, that is not true at all. It's nothing more than looking at a pic.

don't think it's much difference
As Maya Angelou says: The first time someone shows you who they are, believe them. be it in person or online |

Ohhh I do agree with most but they can lie to you face to face as well as online.
But regardless you never truly get to know a person until you have spent time with them in person. And then you really at times never know what you think you do!! |

I feel like it is a little bit of both things, you have the game players online just as well as you have them in face to face meetings. So I am about 50/50 on this. I do have to say that if you take the time to find out things about a person you will learn something everyday.

If they are honest? Sure. But that's where the analogy breaks down. Cuz there is no way you can KNOW if they are honest.
Sad but true. |

I think face-to-face is a better way to learn about the real person
