Topic: THE TRIUNE GOD - who does what?

just how does this plural god head work?

Does the father think something, then the son speak it then the spirit bring it into being?

or does the father think it and the spirit speak it forth and the son bring it into being? or what??

Or, is one to understand it as a mutual collaboration that takes place simultaneously or instantaneously?

If someway other than these, explain please?

I read about a mystic 'trinity' of God.

They also had a Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In their mythology the Father is the creator of all things. The Holy Spirit is much like mother nature. The Holy Spirit is what manifests the physics world. And the "Son", in this senarion refers to all living things that have consciousness.

We are all the Son of God in this trinity.

I personally see all sorts of problems and contradiction with the biblical idea of a trinity. If Jesus is the only 'son' of God and he was always a part of the trinity that would mean that Jesus existed prior to Adam and Eve. Prior to the fall of man, prior to the flood, etc, etc, etc.

That would mean that God knew everything before he ever even created it. But that implies that God had no choice in the matter. It also implies that man had no choice in the matter. It just goes round and round and round in endless circles of of contradiction after contradiction after contradicion.

That is actually very interesting Abra.

The Father is the Prime source or raw creation.

The Spirit is the thought that manifests or gives birth to it (the son) or creation.

The son is that which is manifested or the RESULT.

It all happens at once, there is no time.

Therefore the Prime source has to always be in action, and the Spirit has to always be manifesting and the Son is perpetually being manifested.

Prime source is the I AM CREATOR.

Spirit is the movement of visual thoughts manifesting.

We, and our body and our world, are the son manifest.

It manifests from within us.

It makes perfect sense to me.

I have long had a view that there are basically three parts to man. The "body", the "mind" and the "self". The body is like a vehicle that is driven around within the physical universe. The mind could be likened to the "control panel". And of course, "self" is the driver.

I never thought of it in the sense of a triune god, but since I do believe that "we are all gods", it actually works quite well if you "bend the rules" a little.

Self = Father
Mind = Holy Spirit
Body = Son

That is actually very similar to the way I see it.

Truthly Tribo, the whole biblical myth is all two-faced. I'm not sure how they ended up with a 'trinity', but the whole idea is that they had no choice. They couldn't very well allow Jesus to truly be the 'son of God', because that would have just been Greek Mythology all over again. They had to somehow claim that Jesus isn't a separate God like Apollo was separate from Zeus.

So they made up this whole trinity thing. But it doesn't work. You just can't have a God being it's own sacrifical lamb to appease itself because that just makes no sense at all.

Christians are like that. In fact, the whole biblical myth is like that. People pray to God to give thanks for the food they eat. But they seem to totally forget that God created them with a need to eat. So what's up with that? Why should we have to thank a God for food when it was God who created us with a need to eat in the first place?

If a God creates a creature that needs to eat to survive then it's entirely the responsibly of the God to see to it that the beasts it creates have something to eat. Otherwise it's just downright being a mean jerk.

The whole idea of a zookeeping God who doesn't take care of his animals is just a sick idea in the first place. I don't care whether it's one enitry and a million entities. The God or Gods just aren't taking very good care of their creations.

All you have to do is look around to see that. You don't need to ask people to explain it. The Bible doesn't even explain it. What makes you think anyone else should be able to? huh

In the "One God" view, all the inconsistencies would seem to indicate that it's a committee. :laughing:

Oh, now!!! Come on!!
You know you will never get anywhere with the Xtians with a logical attitude like that!!

How dare you use logic?

You have to use psychotropic, image-enhancing incense to get close to the god-head.

Actually, when I was working on the ships, the god-head was reserved for the skipper to do his ablutions and then we could all get on the pot.

So the god-head was actually a repository for fecal material!

... or it was full of ...

Very much like Daddy, Junior, and Spook.

We have discovered the secret to life and creating your own reality.

Now focus on that and stop wasting energy.

While you are ordering all those books, order "The Law of Attraction" and "Ask and it is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

Or download and read "The science of getting rich" by Wallace D. Wattles. It free.

Then start doing the five rite, the ancient secret fountain of youth.

Stop ***** footing around with people who worship false gods.
